Athens Airport Car Rentals Greece - Athens Airport Rent A Car Terms and Conditions |

Kindly read the following Athens car rental terms and conditions carefully. All renters must strictly adhere to these car rental conditions for their own safety and protection.
1. Driver's License:
All renters of Athens Airport Car Rentals vehicles are required to have either a European or international driver's license, which has been valid for at least a year.
2. Minimum Age:
23 years old for category C, 25 years old for categories D, F, G1 and H. All credit card holders must be at least 23 years old.
3. Minimum Rental Period:
Rentals are for 24 hours. Additional hours are charged extra and calculated at 1/5 of the daily car rental rate.
4. Taxes:
The required 23% VAT is included in the car rental rates
5. Fines for Traffic Violations:
The renter is fully responsible for any fines that are a result of traffic violations that occurred during the rental period. Such matters should be reported immediately to Athens Airport Car Rentals.
6. Fuel:
The renter is responsible for filling the gasoline tank of the rented car with fuel
7. Car Insurance - CDW:
Renters may request collision damage waiver (CDW), which has an additional charge of € 7.34 per day for category C and € 8.80 per day for categories D, F, G1 and H.
If CDW coverage is not purchased, the following amounts are the responsibility of the renter.

8. Car Insurance – PAI:
Renters may request personal accident insurance, which has an additional charge of € 1.47 per day. Both the renter/driver and the passengers of the Athens rent a car are covered, according to the following amounts:

€ 500.000 is the maximum coverage per accident.
9. Damage:
The insurance policies do not cover damage caused to the tires, the wheels, or the undercarriage of the car, which are the full responsibility of the renter.
10. Delivery and Collection Services (We serve the Athens International Airport - Greece only):
- Athens International Airport Car Rental Delivery/Collection: Free of Charge.
11. Car Rentals outside Greece or on Greek Islands:
A written authorization must be obtained from Athens Airport Car Rentals for the rent a car to be driven outside Greece or taken by ferry boat to the Greek Islands. |
